Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 15, 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking an appointment or using the services of Green Notary Solutions. They explain what you can expect from us and what we need from you so every notarization goes smoothly.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking an appointment, requesting a quote, using this website, or otherwise engaging Green Notary Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services or website.

2. Our Services

Green Notary Solutions provides mobile notary public services in and around Ruskin, Florida, including Pinellas and Hillsborough counties and surrounding areas, as well as Remote Online Notarization (RON). Our services include notarization of real estate and loan documents, powers of attorney and other legal documents, wills, trusts and estate-planning documents, affidavits and sworn statements, and business and corporate documents.

Not every document or situation can be notarized, and every service is subject to Florida law.

3. No Legal Advice

A notary public is a public official who verifies identities and witnesses signatures. We are not attorneys. We cannot give legal advice, choose the type of notarial act for you, explain the legal effect of a document, prepare or draft legal documents, or tell you whether a document is right for your situation. If you have legal questions, please speak with a licensed Florida attorney.

4. Requirements for Notarization

To complete a notarization, the following are required:

  • Every signer must appear before the notary at the time of notarization, in person or, for Remote Online Notarization, by approved audio-video technology.
  • Every signer must present acceptable, valid identification as required by Florida law.
  • Signers must be willing, aware of what they are signing, and able to communicate with the notary.
  • Documents must be complete and include any required notarial wording, or you must tell us which type of notarial act you need. We cannot choose it for you.
  • Please do not sign your documents ahead of time if they require signing in front of the notary.

5. Appointments & Scheduling

You can book online through our scheduling page or by contacting us by phone or email. Same-day, emergency, and after-hours appointments may be available, subject to our availability.

Please give us accurate information about the number of signers, the documents, and the appointment location, and be ready at the scheduled time. If you need to reschedule or cancel, please contact us as early as possible. Where permitted by law and communicated to you when you book, we may charge a reasonable fee for late cancellations or missed appointments, for example when travel has already begun.

6. Fees & Payment

Our fees depend on the type of document, the number of notarizations needed, and whether you require mobile or remote service. Fees, including any travel fee for mobile appointments, will be quoted before your appointment and are subject to what Florida law allows.

Payment is due at the time of service unless we agree otherwise in writing. Our fees are separate from any charges by third parties such as attorneys, lenders, title companies, or government offices.

7. Mobile Notary Service

We travel to your home, office, hospital, or another convenient location within our service area. You are responsible for providing a safe, accessible location with adequate space and lighting for the signing. For hospitals and care facilities, please arrange any access or staff cooperation needed for the visit.

We may decline or end an appointment if the location appears unsafe.

8. Remote Online Notarization (RON)

Remote Online Notarization is performed by secure audio-video communication in accordance with Florida law. You are responsible for having a device with a working camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and for completing any required identity-verification steps.

RON sessions are recorded, and records are kept, as required by law.

9. Our Right to Refuse Service

We may decline or stop a notarization, and are not responsible for the resulting delay, if:

  • A signer cannot be properly identified.
  • A signer appears unwilling, pressured, confused, or unable to communicate.
  • The document is incomplete, or a required notarial certificate is missing.
  • We are asked to do something that is unlawful or contrary to Florida notary law.
  • We have safety concerns about the location or the people present.

10. Confidentiality & Privacy

We treat your documents and personal information as confidential. We handle them only as needed to perform the notarization, keep the records the law requires, or comply with legal obligations.

Information you send through our website, scheduling page, phone, or email is used to respond to you and arrange your appointment.

11. Your Documents & Responsibility

You are responsible for the contents, accuracy, and legality of your documents. A notarization confirms identity and the act of signing. It does not verify the truth of the document or guarantee that a court, bank, agency, or other third party will accept it.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability arising from our services is limited to the fees you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for delays, rejected documents, or missed deadlines caused by circumstances outside our control.

Nothing in these terms limits our duties under Florida notary law or any coverage available under our notary bond or insurance.

13. Website & Third-Party Services

Our website may use third-party services, such as Calendly for scheduling, Google Maps, and social media links. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. Information on this website is for general purposes, is not legal advice, and may change without notice.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and it applies to appointments booked after that date.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute arising from them or from our services will be handled in the courts of Florida.
